The China Scholarship Council (CSC) is a non-profit institution affiliated with the Ministry of Education. The objective of CSC is to provide in accordance with the law, statutes and relevant principles and policies of China, financial assistance to the Chinese citizens wishing to study abroad. CSC also provides scholarship to foreign citizens wishing to study in China in order to develop the educational, scientific and technological, and cultural exchanges and economic and trade cooperation between China and other countries.

 

Dongfang International Center for Educational Exchange (Dongfang International), established by China Scholarship Council (CSC), is devoted to promoting international educational exchange and cooperation. It is one of the first groups of professional service organizations approved by Ministry of Education and Ministry of Public Security and is also a state-level accredited service institution registered with China State Administration for Industry & Commerce to provide cross-provincial services. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A Memorandum of Understanding will be signed in August 2015 between UPSI and Dongfang International Center for Educational Exchange (Dongfang International) to facilitate faculty, research scholar and student exchange programs. It is also to develop collaborative research projects, organization of joint academic & scientific activities like conferences, symposia, courses & lectures and encourage exchange of publications.
