Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP)

Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP) was established as an Indonesian governmental institution under Ministry of Finance on 30 January 2012. LPDP’s role is to provide education funding for future Indonesian leaders and professional. It focuses on developing quality of human resource in multiple fields to support the acceleration of
Indonesia’s development. There are several types of scholarship offered by LPDP including Master and Doctoral Scholarship, Thesis and Dissertation Scholarship, Affirmation Scholarship and Presidential Scholarship. The scholarship covers the critical area of studies including engineering, science, agriculture, law, economy, finance, medicine, religion,
and sociocultural studies. 

UPSI will sign a Memorandum of Agreement with Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP) on 31 July 2015. The memorandum will be signed by Prof Dato Dr Zakaria Kasa, Vice Chancellor of UPSI and Mr Eko Prasetyo, Main Director of LPDP. This ceremony will be witnessed by En Mohd Faizi Othman, the Registrar of UPSI and  Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic and International Prof. Dr. Sahandri Gani Hamzah.

As a result of the agreement, LPDP Affirmation scholars will enrol in UPSI Postgraduate studies.
