Namibia Student Financial Assistance Fund

Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Namibian Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSAF) of the Republic of Namibia on 15 July 2013 at the Marriot Hotel Putrajaya.

On the occasion, the Ambassador, His Excellency Gebhard Benjamin Kandanga and Prof Dato Dr Zakaria Kasa Vice Chancellor of UPSI signed the agreement. The ceremony was witnessed by Deputy Minister of Education II Malaysia, YB P. Kamalanathan and the Minister of Education the Republic of Namibia, The Honourable Dr David R Namwandi.

As a result of the agreement, NSAF sent the first batch of 38 students to UPSI starting from Semester 1 2013/2014 enrolled in Bachelor of Education (Information Technology) with Honours programme.
